Boating, fishing, swimming, hiking and horse riding are all popular recreational activities at Huntsville State Park. The park has a swimming area and bathhouse, 2 lighted fishing piers, two fish cleaning stations, and a boat ramp and dock. While at the park, check out Huntsville, which is one of Texas' oldest cities, only 6 miles from Huntsville State Park.
