General Information:
914 acre Lake Greenwood State Recreational Area (SRA) occupies a series of peninsulas on Lake Greenwood with 212 miles of shoreline and 11,400 acres of boating and fishing opportunities year-round. The park also hosts the South Carolina Half-Iron Man Competition, a popular endurance contest, each fall. Boating, fishing and hiking are all popular recreational activities at Lake Greenwood State Recreational Area. Click on the “More Information” tab above to learn more.
Beautiful View:
Per the reservations web site, the following camp sites are “Lakefront” and should have views of Lake Greenwood: 17, 19, 21, 23, 25-26, 28-30, 32-33, 35, 37, 39, 41, 43-45, 48-9, 51, 53, 55-57, 59-60, 62-63, 105, 107-109, 111-115, 117-119, 121-122.

Campground Details:
The campground includes 125 paved sites for both RVs and tents. Each site has water and electrical hook-ups and a picnic table. Many paved sites accommodate RVs up to 40 feet. Other amenities include restrooms with flush toilets, and hot showers. A dump station is located in the park. Although this state park is open year round, there may be restrictions on the camping season, so call the state park for more information on campground opening and closing dates.
