Boating, fishing and hiking are popular at Dreher Island State Recreational Area.

Enjoy fishing in Lake Murray for largemouth bass, stripers, catfish, bream, crappie and yellow perch. Three boat ramps provides private boat access to Lake Murray.

Hiking Trails include the ¼-mile Billy Dreher Nature Trail and a moderate 2.1 mile hike along the Little Gap Trail. In addition to these two hiking trails a .33 mile multi-use trail exits through the middle of State Park Loop. This trail is designated for bike and foot traffic only.
