General Information:
Calhoun Falls State Recreation Area located in Calhoun Falls SC, about 65 miles from Greenville, is on Lake Russell - a 26,650-acre reservoir, excellent for fishing including bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish and others. In addition to fishing, boating and hiking opportunities are also available at Calhoun Falls State Recreation Area. Click on the “More Information” tab above to learn more.
Beautiful View:
Per the reservations web site, the following camp sites are “Lakefront” and should have views of Lake Russell: 10, 12-15, 18-25, 27-28, 30, 34-35, 53-54, 56-58, 61-68,72-74, 76-77, 79-86, T(tent)1-3, T6-10, and T12.

Campground Details:
Calhoun Falls has three campgrounds along the shores of Lake Russell. Two of the campgrounds provide individual water and electrical hookups accommodating RVs 30-40 feet in length. The third campground is for tents. Other amenities include restrooms with flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station.
Although this state park is open year round, there may be restrictions on the camping season, so call the state park for more information on campground opening and closing dates. For more information on the state park or campgrounds call (864)447-8267.
