General Information:
The 365 acre memorial Andrew Jackson State Park, dedicated to the seventh U.S. president, is located in Piedmont, South Carolina – about thirty miles from Charlotte. A special feature of the park is a “living history” program with docents in period clothing. Fishing, boating and hiking are available at Andrew Jackson State Park. Beautiful View:
Although the main attraction of this park is the educational living history program, per the reservations web site, the following camp sites are “Lakefront” and should have views of a small body of water: 17, 18, 19.

Campground Details:
There are 25 sites in all, each with water and electric hookups. Five pull-through sites accommodate RVs up to 36 feet and the other 20 gravel sites accommodate RVs up to 30 feet. Other amenities include restrooms with flush toilets, hot showers and a dump station. Although the state park is open year round, there may be restrictions on the camping season.
