Welcome to our review of Little Talbot Island State Park campground.

General Information:
Little Talbot Island State Park lies along the estuary side of Little Talbot island, one of the few remaining undeveloped barrier islands in Northeast Florida with maritime forests, sand dunes, and undisturbed salt marshes. Wildlife viewing can include river otters, marsh rabbits, bobcats, and a variety of native and migratory birds. The island’s pristine beach has over 5 miles of shoreline along the Atlantic Ocean.

Beautiful View:
Campsites at Little Talbot Island campground are surrounded and shaded by pines, hollies and other native vegetation including hammock, live oak trees and dense palmetto providing a picturesque view from campsites. Myrtle Creek is a scenic tidal estuary bordering the western portion of the campground. There are several sites along the salt marsh with water views but they are at risk of flooding depending on the tide, moon, and weather conditions. Most sites have good privacy and are well shaded.

As always, for a better sense of the views available at this campground or any campground featured in Camping With A View, make sure you look at the photos and read some of the reviews from other campers by clicking on the links found in the campground menu at the top of this page.
