The Blackwater River State Park web site has an excellent group of photos that highlight the beautiful views of the park. There is only one photo of a campsite; but this is enough to get a sense of the view that can be seen from camp sites at this park. There are several photos of the River making it clear what draws visitors to this park. I’m not a kayaker and stay away from canoes, but the photos of kayakers paddling down this river will make you at least consider taking a chance and trying it out. You’ll see the beautiful pristine white sand beaches lining the river.
