Half Moon Bay State Beach has a Visitor Center and with four miles of sandy beaches, there are many opportunities for hiking. Coastside Trail runs along the eastern boundary of the four beaches that comprise Half Moon Bay providing a three mile stretch to walk, jog or ride bikes. The trail continues north to Pillar Point Harbor. There is also a horse trail that parallels Coastside Trail from Roosevelt Beach to Francis Beach.
