Beautiful View:   Mountains, Lake and Evergreen Forest

Green River Lake campground is located near the shore of Lower Green River Lake.

Best Sites: Camp sites are on a hillside. Per ranger district personnel, the following sites should have views of both the lake and mountains: 9-13, 26-29 and 31. Note that this conflicts with camper review # 1 which says that you can't see the lake due to the trees; but ranger district personnel was firm that the above sites do have at least partial views of the lake.
