"...The campground, located near the southern edge of the Absaroka- Beartooth Wilderness, is sandwiched between Crazy Creek on one side and overlooking a picturesque meadow on the other. The understory is grass and privacy between sites is fair. Be sure to take a short walk to a dramatic waterfall which can be heard throughout the campground. This scenic campground is convenient for day drives up to Beartooth Pass, Clay Butte Fire Tower (for some great vistas) and the Yellowstone National Park. The drive along the Chief Joseph Scenic Byway is gorgeous with many vistas. Parts of it trace the flight or retreat of the Nez Perce Indians...

...This is grizzly bear country; practice safe food storage techniques...

...The parking aprons are gravel..."
