"...The campground, one of several along the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway and adjacent to Trial Lake, is comprised of two unnamed sections (upper and lower) among Lodgepole pine, Engelmann spruce and a few White fir. The lower section is the smallest and closest to the lake with most camping sites having an unobscured view of the lake. The upper section has all the pull-throughs some of which are very large. Some of the sites overlook the lake. This is an attractive campground with excellent vistas of the lake and surrounding mountains. Wildlife viewing is possible...

...A Recreation Pass is also required. The cost is $3 per day, or $6 per week or $25 per year. The passes can be purchased at various fee stations along State Rt. 150...
