"...The campground is very attractive, composed of two loops (one larger than the other), and located in Logan Canyon. It is often used by campers who want to enjoy the opportunities offered by the 102,400-acre Bear Lake - 6.5 miles to the east. Aspen trees and heavy understory of grass and wildflowers are predominant in the smaller loop. The larger loop is composed of a mixture of conifers providing lots of shade to the camping sites. A few of the sites in the larger loop offer vistas of the Bear Lake and distant mountains. The campground's interior road and all the site parking aprons are surrounded by curbs which may pose a challenge to large RVs. Traffic noise from US Rt. 89 is noticeable in the smaller loop. Visit Garden City on Bear Lake for a delicious raspberry milkshake. Other day trips from the campground are Limber Pine Trail, Minnetonka Cave and Tony Grove for wildflowers and Fall colors. ... There is an RV waste station at Beaver Mountain Ski Resort. Take US Rt. 89 south 5.9 miles to State Rt. 243. Turn left onto Rt. 243 and go 1.4 miles to the Resort's campground. Fee is $3 to dump and $3 for potable water..."
