"...The campground, adjacent to Boulder Creek Wilderness, stretches along the southern bank of North Umpqua River. Every campsite has a view of the river and most are next to the river's fast flowing water. A whitewater launch area is located at the campground's east end. Lichen-draped cedar, Douglas fir and deciduous trees provide ample shade. A thick understory of fern and thimbleberries give campground a lush semi-tropical feel. The river competes with road noise as the dominate sound. It also features challenging whitewater runs as well as world famous Steelhead trout springtime runs. Gas, limited groceries and some RV supplies are available at Dry Creek Store, 4.8 miles west of campground...
