"...The campground, near Ruby Mountains Wilderness, is composed of three unnamed loops at the mouth of Thomas Canyon. The camp sites are nestled in among Aspen, cottonwood, and other deciduous trees. The views of sheer glacier-carved walls and Thomas and Lamoille Canyons from any camp site is magnificent, actually breathtaking. A drive up Lamoille Canyon is also spectacular. The community of Lamoille is an interesting day trip and also offers a cook's night out...
...The parking aprons are gravel..."
