A description of this campground can be found at the following web site: U.S. National Forest Campground Guide After going to this site, depending on your web browser, you may need to scroll down to the name of this campground. Campgrounds are in alphabetical order. Below is an excerpt of comments about this campground found at this site:

"...The campground, one of five in the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area (NRA), stretches up Kyle Canyon next to a dry wash along State Rt. 157 with camp sites tucked in among Gamble oak, Ponderosa pine and Mountain mahogany. Young oak, Manzanita, and wild roses provide excellent privacy between sites. The campground is composed of three unnamed loops and a connecting road. One loop is behind the Forest Service information board and meanders around on a shady hillside. Another loop is at far end of campground and has most of the double sites. The last loop winds back to the campgrounds mid-section and has pleasantly secluded camp sites. The road linking the loops has the most sunny and open sites. Most camp sites have a view of Kyle Canyon's towering northern wall. The campground also features three stone bridges built from local stone. One is white, one red and one multi-colored. This is the closest NRA campground to Las Vegas and traffic noise from State Rt. 157 can be heard throughout...

...The parking aprons are paved...

... An RV waste station is available at the Flying J gas station in Las Vegas at intersection of I-15 and Cheyenne Ave (Exit 41 west) - no fee..."
