We visited this campground in late November, 2006. The camp sites are nicely spaced and separated by native high elevation mountain vegetation and evergreen trees. Only 3 of the sites in the outer ring of sites have partial views of Quemado Lake and the mountains in the distance. We found that the views of the trees and vegetation from the sites in the inner ring of camp sites had thier own beauty. We like water and mountain views, but if the 3 sites with partial views of water and mountains were filled, we would be very happy with one of the several inner circle of sites.
