"...The campground straddles Forest Rt. 482 for about a mile along Curtis Creek. It is located in the first tract of National Forest land purchased in 1911. This tent-only only campground features grand old deciduous and conifer trees, the fast-flowing Curtis Creek, and a wilderness experience without some of the inconveniences. Except for a 7-site cluster in a grass field, the dispersed feeling campsites are nestled in dense woods. Privacy between these campsites is excellent...

...This is bear country; practice safe food storage techniques...

...Potable water comes from pipe on right side of road above the 7- site cluster. Boiling water first before drinking is advisable..."
