"...The campground is a series of overlapping unnamed loops meandering beside the Madison River with some camp sites overlooking the water. Beyond the river is a grass prairie and a magnificent view of the peaks in Yellowstone National Park. Lodgepole pine provide some shade. Wildlife can be observed on or near the river to include heron. The west entrance to the Yellowstone National Park is about 3 miles from campground. Firewood is available for a fee. Bear-proof food containers are available throughout campground...

...Parking aprons are gravel. There is potable water tower for filling RV water tank at entrance to campground. The campground accommodates any size RV, especially at pull-through camp sites..."
