Beautiful View:   Lake and Deciduous (Fall Colors) Forest

This state park has two campgrounds (Pittsburgh and Hermitage). The campground being reviewed is Pittsburgh which is located on the shore of Pomme De Terre Lake with four loops of camp sites in a deciduous forest including many young oak trees.

Best Sites: Sites 221,222,224,226,227 and 229 in loop 2, sites 305,306,308,310,311, 312,314-319,321,328,329,332 and 333 in loop 3 and sites 416,417 and 421 in loop 4 have fair to excellent views of the lake.
