Review # 1 by Camping With A View

We visited this campground on a day trip in early August 2006. This is an undeveloped campground with "random" camping, i.e., there are no designated camp sites - you can camp anywhere. It's a pretty area with several picnic tables along the shore of a small branch of Pomme De Terre Lake. The well spaced picnic tables appear to be where campers camp.

Because there are no facilities at this campground, it is not as popular as nearby Nemo Park or Pomme De Terre State Park campgrounds, so it had a greater sense of solitude than the other 2 parks on the day of our visit.

Pomme de Terre Lake is 1,790 surface acres with 113 miles of shoreline.
