Review # 1 by Camping With A View

We visited this campground on a day trip in early August 2006. Typical of many U. S. Army Corps of Engineers campgrounds, this one is attractively laid out, maintained very well and camp sites are arranged so that many have views of the water. Many of the sites are terraced so that although they are fairly close together, one will be higher or lower than the neighboring camp site giving the site more privacy and a better view of the water. Wooden fences partially surround many camp sites adding to the feeling of privacy.

The campground stretches along the shore of Pomme de Terre Lake which is 1,790 surface acres with 113 miles of shoreline.
