"...The campground, located where the Mississippi River and Cass Lake meet, is a single loop on the northeast shore of Cass Lake with manicured sites shaded by mature oak, spruce and pine. Known for its canoe access to the Mississippi River, this sweet little campground offers every campsite a view of the lake. The Knutson Dam was built by the Corps of Engineers and transferred to the Forest Service in 1926. Wildlife viewing is one of the highlights of this campground...
...The parking aprons are grass, gravel or paved and all are about the same size...
...Cass Lake is 15,596 acres..."
