Campgrounds are in alphabetical order. Below is an excerpt of comments about this campground found at this site:
"...The campground, on the north side of the Wild and Scenic Salmon River, is separated by Forest Rt. 030. The section on the north side of the road stretches slightly up a slope next to a creek and is the location of several fruit-bearing apricot trees. The camp sites in this section are best suited for tents. The lower or southern section of the campground can accommodate both RVs and tents. Although this section sits on a bluff above the river, none of the camp sites have a clear view of the river. Both sections have a panoramic view of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. A bit further west from the campground is the M.T. Saddle Saloon which offers cool, refreshing beverages and some "local color."...
...The parking aprons are gravel...
... An RV waste station with potable water is available on Forest Rt. 030, 0.8 west of US Rt. 93 - no fee. Turn west at the "Shoup 17" sign (Forest Rt. 030, not marked) from US Rt. 93 in North Fork, ID..."
