Review # 1 by Camping With A View
We visited this campground on a day trip in late September 2006. This is a U. S. Army Corps of Engineers campground and is laid out very well. Most sites are spacious and well separated and there are several waterfront sites looking onto Lake Rathbun (actually a reservoir) in each of 3 camping areas (A, B, and C). Lake Rathbun is Iowa's largest lake and is sometimes referred to as Iowa's ocean.
