Review # 1 by Camping With A View

We visited this campground on a day trip in late June 2006. Typical of other Florida State Park campgrounds, most sites are spacious and well separated and the campground is very well designed and maintained. Native flora borders 3 sides of most sites making for very attractive camp sites. Many sites have views of beautiful white sand dunes. It was very hot the day we visited this campground and we preferred the Shady Pines campground over the Gulf Breeze. Sites in the Shady Pines campground tended to have more beautiful native flora including tall thick Palm trees and tall pines. The Gulf Breeze campground tended to have better views of the dunes. It's unlikely that you will get a camp site at this popular campground without a reservation.
