Review # 1 by Camping With A View

We visited this campground on a day trip in late June 2006. Typical of other Florida State Park campgrounds, most sites are spacious and well separated and the campground is very well designed and maintained. Native flora arranged between camp sites help the separation and make for attractive camp sites. Thre are about 11 sites that have views of Western Lake. Each of these sites have paths that take you down to the beach. It's unlikely that you will get a camp site at this popular campground without a reservation.
