"...The campground meanders around and through mixed conifers in a valley along South Mineral Creek and open meadows. Most camping sites have pleasant view of surrounding mountains or are adjacent to the creek. Access to the campground is through a pretty valley with waterfalls cascading to South Mineral Creek. Firewood is available for a fee. Four-wheel roads lead in all directions from the campground...

...This is bear country; practice safe food storage techniques...

...The parking aprons are gravel and the interior road is rough...

... There is waste station at Silver Summit RV Park (private) in Silverton, CO. Expect to pay a fee..."
