"...The campground, located just north of the Cache La Poudre Wilderness, is composed of two sections along the Cache La Poudre Wild and Scenic River. Each section has its own entrance, 0.1 miles apart. The first section is a grassy open meadow and very RV friendly with camping sites along the river's bank. The second section is for walk-in tent campers only with camping sites tucked in among Ponderosa pines and scattered small boulders. This section enjoys a very attractive location. Tents must be placed on hard surfaces only, not grass. The tent pads include tie-downs. The river can be heard throughout the campground. The campground is located just west of the geological feature called the "Narrows" - a narrow cleft where the river has cut through rock walls...
...The parking aprons are gravel...
... There is an RV waste station at the Poudre River Resort in Poudre City, 12.5 miles west of campground on State Rt. 14. The fee is $5 and there is no potable water...."
