Campgrounds are in alphabetical order. Below is an excerpt of comments about this campground found at this site:
"...The campground, located on the northern boundary of the Cache La Poudre Wilderness, straddles Cache La Poudre Wild and Scenic River with most camping sites alongside the river. The sounds of rushing water can be heard throughout the campground. Camping sites 7 through 12 are on a dead-end spur - RVs not permitted. Most tent sites are walk-ins and tucked in among young Aspen and a few Ponderosa pines. A few camping sites have a "V" shape relationship - good for family or small group gathering. Tents are permitted on hard surfaces only, not on grass. Firewood is available from the host for a fee...
...This is bear country; practice safe food storage techniques...
...The parking aprons are gravel...
... There is an RV waste station at Poudre River Resort in Poudre City, 7.6 miles west on State Rt. 14. The fee is $5 and there is no potable water..."
