"...The campground is composed of four sections - Columbine Loop, Yarrow Loop, Paintbrush (an equestrian section) and a group camping section (which is not included in the author's research). The Columbine Loop includes camping sites with electric hookups and a walk-in tent section. Yarrow Loop has no electric hookups but its parking aprons can accommodate any size RV. Paintbrush also has no electric hookups; each parking apron is a pull- through and each has a good size corral. The campground is located midway between Cache La Poudre and Comanche Peak Wildernesses. The camping sites are tucked into Ponderosa pine and Aspen with grassy meadows scattered throughout. The sites are well separated providing good privacy. This is a very diversified campground with its variety of camping experiences that include trails for horses, foot and OHVs...
...The parking aprons are gravel...
... There is an RV waste station at the Poudre River Resort in Poudre City, 6.6 miles west of Pingree Rd. on State Rt. 14. The fee is $5 and there is no potable water..."
