"...The campground, located near the Flat Tops Wilderness, is very scenic. It is composed of three overlapping loops in dense stand of Engelmann spruce, Subalpine fir and a few Aspens providing excellent privacy between sites. Bear Lake is adjacent to the campground, but none of the camping sites are on the lake. Some of the sites have excellent views of the towering black cliffs that identify the wilderness boundary...

... There is an RV waste station available at the KOA campground in Steamboat Springs, CO - 2 miles west of downtown on US Rt. 40. The fee is $5 - includes potable water...
