"...The campground, partially developed with a dispersed-like feel and pack it in, pack it out [whatever you take in, you take out (gargage, etc.)], is composed of two sections - Upper and Lower. It is one of two in the Virginia Lakes Recreation Area. The Upper section meanders through a dense stand of Lodgepole pine with some sites located along Virginia Creek. This section, with close-growing trees along a narrow interior road and poorly defined parking aprons, is best suited for tents. The Lower section stretches 1.5 miles along Virginia Creek in patches of Lodgepole pine separated by large grass meadows. The open space provides vistas from some camp sites. This section is very RV friendly with longer, level parking aprons and wide single-lane interior road. Nearby is Virginia Lakes Resort offering hot showers, boat rentals and a cafe‚ serving breakfast and lunch...
