"...This tent-only campground hugs a bank of Trinity Lake. Cedar and Ponderosa pine provide shade. Manzanita, Mountain Mahogeny, grass along with well separated walk-in campsites, give good privacy. Just off State Rt. 3, traffic noise can be heard throughout campground. The campground is one of 16 in the Trinity Unit of the Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area...

...This is bear country; practice safe food storage techniques...

...Trinity Lake is 16,400 acres. While there is a boat ramp at this campground, there is another at Clark Springs campground (along with swim area) ..."
