"...The campground, located in the Giant Sequoia National Monument of the Sequoia National Forest, is a single loop through a thick stand of mature trees - cedar, Ponderosa, fir, and sugar pine. These majestic trees provide ample shade for most camp sites. Some have stone ovens and some overlook a lush meadow. The Trail of 100 Giants is across the road. This is a quiet, tranquil, attractive campground - nice for tent campers and small RVs. Walking the wheelchair friendly Trail of 100 Giants is a must. There are 125 giant Sequoias, from 10 to 20 feet in diameter. The age of these trees range from 500 to 1,500 years...
