Beautiful View:   Redwood Forest and River

Pfeiffer Big Sur campground is in a Redwood forest with Big Sur river running through the campground. Many campsites are along the Big Sur River. Campsites are spacious and secluded.

Best Sites: The area of the campground with sites 1-37 has many river front sites.

*~ Accurate and consistent information on recommended RV parking spurs is challenging to come by. Recommended RV lengths for this campground should fall within one of the ranges listed below. Call campground personnel for more precise recommendations.

Only non-specific reservations are available at this campground. Non-specific means that you can make a reservation but you can't pick out a specific camp site until the day you arrive. In order to get the most scenic camp site available, we recommend making a non-specific reservation to start on a week day. Arrive between 12-2pm (check-out time is noon and check-in is at 2pm) and select the most scenic site available. Based on the reviews by other campers above, there should be many beautiful scenic camp sites to choose from.
