"...The campground hugs the banks of Trinity Lake in a stand of mixed conifers and deciduous trees. The first section is well developed with paved, level parking aprons and ammenities. The second section is mostly walk-in, with good privacy between campsites, and more primitive with a wilderness feel. This section also features campsites next to the water's edge. Most sites in both sections have views of Trinity Lake. Bear-proof con tainers are available. Informal mooring of boats is possible off some campsites. The campground is one of 16 in the Trinity Unit of the Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area...
...This is bear country; practice safe food storage techniques...
...The parking aprons are either paved or dirt. In the first section, four of the combined sites are double. One of the pull- throughs is a double. The single pull-through will take any size RV. The remaining back-in, combined sites all have about the same size parking apron...
...Coin operated showers are available at nearby Bushytail campground...
...Trinity Lake is 16,400 acres. The boat ramp is primitive and in second section. A more developed boat ramp is available at Clark Springs campground. Swim area also located at Clark Springs..."
