"...The campground is one of five located on the northeast shore of the beautiful Medicine Lake. It has two unnamed overlapping loops. One loop stretches along the lake's shoreline while the other loop is set back in the pines. All campsites have a view of the lake. This campground is the most RV friendly in the Recreation Area but numerous parking aprons will pose a leveling problem for some RVs., particulary motorhomes. Informal mooring of boats and limited waterplay are possible along shoreline. Possible day trips from campground are Glass Mountain and Lava Beds National Monument...

...The parking aprons are gravel and dirt and all are about same size...

...Medicine Lake is 640 acres - a natural lake. Water skiing permitted from 10AM to 5PM. Large sandy beach and boat ramp are located in day-use area at A.H. Hogue campground..."
