"...The campground, located on the banks of Mad River, has two loops - A and B. Loop A, found on a bluff overlooking the river, has vegetation composed mainly of oak trees and Manzanita giving the campsites an open and sunny feel. Some nice tent sites are also located on this loop. Loop B is heavily wooded with tall Douglas fir providing much shade with a greater number of RV-friendly campsites. Although Mad River looks like a good tubbing river, the water is very cold...

...The parking aprons are gravel. Look for some low-hanging branches..."
