Highland Lakes campground is a tent only campground located at the north edge of Carson-Iceberg Wilderness area in an alpine forest (Lodgepole and Jeffrey Pine, Red Fir); adjacent to and overlooking Highland Lakes .

Best Sites: Some sites overlook the lake and/or surrounding wilderness area. Some sites have views of the surrounding mountains and arid landscape.
