"...The campground is one of five located on the northeast shore of the beautiful Medicine Lake. It has two, overlapping unnamed loops. All campsites have a view of the lake but only two tent sites are adjacent to the lake. The campground's original tent camping personality has been retained even though some attempt has been made to accommodate RVs. Possible day trips are: Glass Mountain and Lava Beds National Monument...

...The parking aprons are dirt and gravel. Because of poor leveling and man-made potholes, many parking aprons are not RV friendly...

...Medicine Lake is 640 acres - a natural lake. Water skiing permitted from 10AM to 5PM. Large sandy beach and boat ramp are located in day-use area at A.H. Hogue campground..."
