Beautiful View:   Creek, Mountains and Arid Landscape

Convict Lake campground is in a mixed pine, hemlock forest located beside Convict Creek and is surrounded by towering mountains.

Best Sites: Per ranger district personnel, campsites 41, 42, 45, 47, 49, 52, 53, 56, 57, 58 and 59 should have views of Convict Creek. All sites have beautiful views of the John Muir Wilderness area and mountains.
