Campgrounds are in alphabetical order. Below is an excerpt of comments about this campground found at this site:

"...The campground, pack it in, pack it out [whatever you take in you take out - garbage, etc.], meanders around the top of Cerro Noroeste, also called Mt. Abel, through a stand of large Ponderosa pine. The camp sites are large and widely spaced providing ample privacy. A quiet campground at the edge of the Chumash Wilderness, the vistas are spectacular. Condor sightings are possible from campground. The ground cover is pine needles and cones. Two of the sites are intended for groups but may be occupied by single families if not occupied or reserved. For the last 7.8 miles of drive to campground, enjoy the great views...

...Parking aprons are dirt covered with pine needles. Aprons are not clearly designated and are iregular in size and shape. Small RVs are recommended..."
