"...The campground stretches along the North Fork of Bishop Creek among Jeffrey and Lodgepole pines, some Aspen and cottonwoods. The tent sites back up on the creek allowing anglers to fish from the comfort of their camp site. The combined camp sites have limited shade and a more desert feel with nice views of surrounding mountain peaks. Bear box food containers are found throughout campground. Firewood is available for a fee. The nearby Cardinal Village Resort offers a variety of services from limited groceries and fishing supplies to internet access, a cafe serving breakfast and lunch, and much more...

...This is bear country; practice safe food storage techniques. "Possessing/storing food so bears/wild animals have access will result in a fine of at least $150."...

...The parking aprons are dirt. Camp sites 1 through 3 are on a spur with no turnaround; travel trailers not recommended..."
