Beautiful View:   Creek, Mountains and Mixed Forest

Big Pine Creek campground is in a narrow canyon with Big Pine Creek running through it. Views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains can be seen from the campground.

Best Sites: Per ranger district personnel, sites 9, 10, 11, 17 and 18 should have views of the surrounding mountains. The spur, camp sites 16 through 18, is not recommended for RVs. Sites 21, 22 and 24 appear to be closest to the creek.
