"...The campground has three unnamed loops near the Arroyo Seco. The first loop is the largest most "modern" with fire rings, pedestal grilles, flush toilets, hot showers, deep sinks, and RV friendly design. The camp sites in this loop have views of "the gorge" and various peaks in the Ventana Wilderness. The next two loops are closer to Arroyo Seco's two small lakes. They are more rustic with dirt parking aprons, vault toilets, rough interior roads, and some low branches. A dense canopy of oak trees provide ample shade in these two loops, but except for a few sites that look down on the lakes, none have the vistas available in the first loop. The nearby day-use area has a sandy beach and river swimming. The campground is at the end of a long drive but well worth it. Serves as a good base camp for exploring the Ventana Wilderness. Firewood is available for a fee...

...The parking aprons are paved in the first loop and dirt in the second and third loops. The hairpin turn at entrance to second and third loops limits access to pop-up tent campers and slide-in RVs. ... First loop only; 12' X 31' is average parking apron size for second and third loops...

...The showers are in the first loop - coin operated and wheelchair friendly. There is also a deep sink for washing dishes in the first loop...
