"...The campground is located near Granite Basin Lake and the Granite Basin Wilderness in the Granite Basin Recreation Area. It is composed of Ponderosa pine, Junipers, Manzanita and Rhyolite granite boulders. The campground is convenient to Prescott and offers a delightful forest camping experience. Because of Manzanita and other vegetation, most sites are comfortably secluded...

...The parking aprons are paved...

... There are two waste stations in the Prescott area. One is Many Trails RV Sales in Prescott Valley, AZ on State Rt. 69 - fee is $1.00 and includes potable water. The other is public and is located about 1 mile down Sundog Ranch Rd. in Prescott off State Rt. 89 - no fee, no potable water...

...Granite Basin Lake is 5 acres and is 1.3 miles from campground..."
