Beautiful View:   Desert Landscape and Lake

Cholla Recreation Site is located on Theodore Roosevelt Lake, central Arizona’s largest lake. Cholla campground is surrounded with desert vegetation and overlooks Roosevelt Lake.

Best Sites: Per ranger district personnel, all sites have beautiful views of the desert landscape and many sites overlook Roosevelt Lake (because the campground is a distance away from the lake, if the water is low, you won't be able to see the lake. Water levels are dependent on the weather and the need for water in Phoenix.)
