Review 1 (by Camping With A View)

We visited this campground in late November, 2006. Both Brookchar and Cutthroat campgrounds overlook Big Lake with views of mountains in the distance. Camp sites are nicely spaced on a hillside with most sites having a view of both the lake and the mountains. While Brookchar is for tents only, Cutthroat campground (a short distance from Brookchar) accomodates both tents and RV's. Most all of the sites at Cutthroat also have views of the lake (with a view of mountains in the distance) and some have views of a large meadow as well.
