Cascade Lake Recreation Area Campground Menu |

Review from Wendy of North Carolina based on visit in October, 2006 -
Description of Campground: The sites I've listed are treed but trimmed up so you can see the lake even in summer. The lakeshore is natural looking, nestled in between hilltops. There is a swimming area, but it is around the bend from these sites and not in view.
Description of Best Camp Sites: Sites D37, D30, D32, and D33 are set back a little from the lake, but you're looking through a few trees at the lake, and can set a chair down by the shore & not be disturbed. These make a great camping cluster for multiple families. L2, L1 and D19 are gorgeous sites closer to the water and spread further apart.
