A review from Randy Hoge in June, 2008
"The view from many of the campsites shows the Collegiate Range of the Colorado Rockies. Mt Princeton and Mt Columbia are especially scenic. Our visit was very pleasant. Gene had a campfire, concert/sing-a-long on Friday. It was great fun, especially if you like songs from the 70's. We went fishing at nearby Clear Creek Reservoir and caught several fish. We released them so others can catch some, too.
The staff was super friendly and we'll definately return."
A review from Wayne Wiksell in June, 2008
"I camped there for two weeks with my wife and nine-year-old granddaughter and two inside cats. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hiked, rock-climbed, panned for gold, collected rocks, went sight-seeing, visited a ghost town, fed chipmunks, visited museums, etc."
